Simply take a normal size dinner plate and divide it through the middle. On the top fill your plate with vegetables, and on the bottom draw a second dividing line and put a protein serving the size of the palm of your hand and on the other side put a carbohydrates serving the size of your cupped hand. This gives you the peace of mind of knowing that you are eating the right foods in the right amounts at every meal.
2. Treat your body to exercise. If you find it hard to get regular exercise then look at it differently. Your body was meant to move and it loves when you give it exercise. To manage your weight take your body on a 30 minute walk every day.
3. Lock your mind on health not a number on the scale. Those who successfully manage their weight have a mindset that supports their efforts and one key to getting that mindset is to stop focusing on reaching a number on the scale and start focusing on how great it feels to lead a healthy lifestyle. By doing this your weight will naturally stay in control.
